Not sure who reads these, but I'm sure you all haven't forgotten me yet. Ryan Fink, son of Jeff Fink, and Laurie Arcuri. Grandson of Stanley Buschel. Nephew of Douglas Buschel. You know, I'm the kid who always would flip my eyelids inside out at the department picnics.
Well, I know my family itself have not been all to present in town, as of late. But My mother and Father still ave the better part of their lives to that department. And as unfortunate as it is, they are no longer capable of doing so...
I simply have one question to ask, and I'm not sure how or where to ask it. As you all know, Father's day nears closer and closer... And being my father was an upstanding volunteer (Despite his personal faults and short comings.) I know his life as a Member is greatly missed. But seeing his rather unfortunate life as of late, He is currently crippled, both physically and with recent droughts of depression and, unfortunately, PTSD that grows ever worse.
I don't mean to turn this into a sympathy letter... But I Must know, Is there any way I could get him a new dress uniform. He sits often and looks at an old photo of my mother and him at one of the department balls. A tall figure, reduced to a hunched man in a wheel chair.
I will pay any amount, but is there anyway I could get him a new uniform and badges. They were destroyed and scattered by numerous people. As well as some unfortunate disasters, such as our basement flooding. I know it will mean the world to him. My email is above, if anyone can get back to me, I would appreciate it greatly. And I know My Mother would to.
